Lena Dunham went to Oberlin! Pretty amusing seeing Safer Sex night make it to tv. Also, her sense of humor makes much more sense now. One more year and our paths probably would've overlapped, especially since I had friends in the creative writing program. Funny.

So it seems just thinking about working on the action verbs in my resume makes me irrationally angry so instead I catch up on tv. It doesn't help that what one person tells you about action verbs is generally directly contradicted by something someone else tells you. I immensely despise resumes. I don't get why it has to be such a song and dance. Most of those suggested words just sound silly to me.

See, here's the fantastic thing about Kent on Whitechapel. I don't even think his crush on Chandler is supposed to be ( subtext. )

So the Walking Dead finale. I'm a little surprised to see so many actual zombies. I'd started thinking this was a show about whiny people instead of a zombie apocalypse. ( finale )

That being said, I'm pretty amused at their little Mad Men/Walking Dead mashup ad.

Now for some Being Human. I do wish there'd been a bit more build up to these two episodes. It feels a little sudden heading into this after last week's fluff. ( something blunt and simple )

So it seems the two shows that really do it for me these days are Spartacus and Being Human. I adore their latest seasons quite a bit, sadly they're almost over. I wasn't sure how much I would like this season of Being Human after Mitchell was killed off last season. It didn't seem like it could be the same show without the three. ( And then… )

Then there's Spartacus. This is the sort of show I usually watch for the action and ridiculous without really getting too attached to any of the characters. This is useful as people tend to die a lot of these shows. Then Crixus happened. He's not the usual sort of character I like, but once he got marvelously damaged and had to fight his way back to the top, then he became interesting and my favorite thing about the show. That is, at least, until Agron cut his hair and Mira became deadly in Vengeance. It's a little hilarious that a large part of me falling for a character involved a little less hair. ( Didn't hurt… )

Also, Kent from Whitechapel. My my Kent from Whitechapel. And the OCD on Chandler is also quite fun.

I already like this one because of the Red Shoes similarities so let's see how it actually works out. ( Supernatural )

Making my growing enjoyment of Alcatraz even more enjoyable, Theo Rossi shows up! This last season of Sons of Anarchy I developed a rather intense love of Juice and his pain. Nice to see him out and about during Sons' break. I forget how pretty he is. ( does a body good )
